In response to the devastation caused by flooding in areas close to the PAMS Polyclinic in Chincha, its Directory agreed to provide assistance to those affected, focusing on medical care and donations of drinking water, food, medicines, sun block, insect repellent, and blankets.

Cleveland Clinic Chincha Mission Report 0616
A male patient presented with headache and loss of visual acuity in the left eye. His vision screening was done by Cleveland Clinic medical student, Roy Swanson who diagnosed the patient with Temporal Arteritis. The patient was quickly referred to the Center’s Ophthalmologist, who started the patient on steroids and referred him to Lima for further testing and care.
