The San Fernandino community met in the historic auditorium of the San Fernando Faculty of Medicine of the National University of San Marcos to celebrate 166 years of its foundation on September 9th. The rector of the university, Dr. Jeri Ramón Ruffner, was accompanied by the Dean of the Medical School, Dr. Luis Podestá, and all faculty members.
In the commemorative ceremony, illustrious members of the San Fernando Chapter of the Peruvian American Medical Society were recognized, Dr. Miguel Vásquez, Dr. Tulio Bertorini, Dr. Manuel Valdivieso, and Dr. María Sjogren, for their outstanding work and support in favor of the San Fernandina university community.
